Why does my plasma tv have bad distortion on it?

I just bought a 42″ Magnavox plasma tv. It looked awesome when I bought it and a few days later it got a distortion to the screen. Kind of like an interference. But it’s there no matter what input it’s on. Even on the tuner. Any answers?

Check if you have another device close by that causes the interference (computer, etc.). Make sure the TV outlet is grounded.
If none of the above, call Magnavox for a service call.
